I'm the Juggernaut, kid. And I don't stop for nuthin'.

I work as a manager of a toy store and generally, I like it. Sure, there are the odd complaints here and there with the company, and of course the usual idiots that shop there. But I like what I do, I like the people that I work with, and I get a nifty 30% discount.

One thing that really bugs me, though, is when we have to increase prices. Now I know I'm not literally responsible for such things, but it's really the only part of my job where I feel dejected and like I am performing a disservice to the community at large. I realize it takes oil to make plastic and that's why things are going up. We have to sticker each and every toy that comes in the store, meaning that when the prices change we have to re-do everything we had done in the past. Since we really can't do it after hours, we have to do it while the store is open, which means that the customers can see what's going on. We have enough trouble getting customers in the store already, but now that we have "NEW HIGHER PRICES" it's even less inviting.

Today we have probably around 1000 pieces to change the price tag on. I'm ready to say fuck it, let's just stick with the lower prices and fuck the price changes.
